I am a Certified Health Coach who cares deeply about the well-being of my community.   I specialize in plant-based nutrition, and helping women with weight loss and management. I coach how to make sustainable lifestyle changes, build healthy habits, and achieve your health goals. Whether you’re looking to lose weight to manage diabetes, or improve your overall health, I’m here to help you every step of the way. Together, we’ll document your goals, track your progress and make adjustments when necessary until we reach success!

Welcome! My name is Ki, thank you for visiting my site.

My greatest expression of self care happened during the final moments of 1999; New Year’s Eve, to be exact. That’s when I made the decision to give up meat and become vegetarian. That’s right, over two decades ago I made the decision to pursue a plant-based diet!

But let me tell you, it wasn’t an easy decision. I made the choice without the support of my family or community, and it was particularly challenging since food was and remains such an integral part of our celebrations and gatherings.

Becoming vegetarian was a difficult decision to make, but it was one that has brought me so much joy and fulfillment over the years. In a matter of months, I lost inches from my waist. I had fewer aches and pains, started to sleep better and my mood improved.

Then, at the late age of 40 years old, I incorporated distance running into my exercise regime. Again, not an easy decision, but with the support of a run group and consistent training, I was able to successfully complete my first 5k, 10k, half marathon and full marathon. It was fascinating to watch the fat from my thighs sculpt into sexy feminine muscles that helped carry me across the finish line of multiple races.

I know from experience that lifestyle changes are not always easy. I started my coaching practice to help inspire others to make healthy choices. Whether interested in plant-based eating, low-impact exercises or just looking for information to improve your overall health, I’m here to support you. Through my blog posts, recipes, and coaching services, I’ll show you that healthy living can be ATTAINED, and most importantly, SUSTAINED.
